Project Description
POMEM project unites participants, partner organizations and participating communities for sustainable growth and ensuring equity, prosperity and social inclusion in Europe and beyond through musical performances. The project partnership holds the solidarity power of music values to empower youth workers in social inclusion of migrants by carrying out concerts and NFE activities to promote social inclusion, intercultural dialogue for more inclusive socieities with European Youth Goal perspective
Activities:
We organized local workshops in participating countries based on NFE and musical competences. Local workshops embraced at least 25 young people with migrant and minority background, also interested people. There were 6 choir performances in participating countries. Each choir performance event gathered at least 100 people citizens, parents, young migrants, local authorities, music experts, youth workers, trainers and partner organizations to create intercultural dialgoue for solidarity.
POMEM project formed up choirs and resulted with 6 concerts and 6 video clips, 24 trainers, 30 local stakeholders, around 150 young people with migrant background, around 600 attendees in events involved project activities from each country. Concrete result of the project is to promote tolerance and inclusive societies in EU. Direct participants are youth workers, music practitioners, young musicians and migrants who wants to expand their competences in the field of music for social change.
